Women's Voices: Past + Present

When: Sat., March 3, 2:30-4 p.m. 2018

Music in the American Wild partners with the Women's Rights National Historical Park to explore an alternative take on the concept of our cultural "wild" and celebrate the voices of American women of the past and present. The program mixes beautiful, dynamic, and powerful works written by American women from the early 1900s until today, including music by Amy Beach, Joan Tower, and a new commission inspired by the words of Elizabeth Cady Stanton by composer Caroline Mallonée.
