We Were Here (Screening and Panel Discussion)

The first documentary to take a deep and reflective look back at the arrival and impact of AIDS in San Francisco, which explores how the City’s inhabitants were affected by, and how they responded to, that calamitous epidemic.

The Little Theatre, in partnership with the Memorial Art Gallery, River Campus Libraries, and ImageOut, invite you to a special screening of the documentary We Were Here in conjunction with the Up Against the Wall: Art, Activism, and the AIDS Poster exhibition, on view at the Memorial Art Gallery through June 19. The film will be followed by a panel discussion discussing Underrepresentation of BIPOC Communities in HIV/AIDS Films. Details here.
