Wan-Ling Chuang, Double bass faculty of Eastman School of Music summer program Music Horizons, will be exposing audiences to a to a dose of “popular classical” music on double bass, including world première performance of Danse Macabre on double bass. The program includes many familiar classical tunes, such as Meditation from “Thaïs”, Danse Macabre by Saint-Saëns and many Tangos from Piazzolla.
