When: Thu., Dec. 8, 7-8 p.m.
Join us for an illuminating evening of poetry, sound and images, featuring the work of artist and Afrofuturist Granville Carroll. Working with digital technology, poetry, and alternative processes, Carroll’s artwork explores photographic representation and vision to understand the process of existence and interpretation. Tonight’s event features a performance by Carroll, as he reads from his newly published artist book, Dark Matter (VSW Press 2022), and discusses the evolution of his photographic practice as an investigation into metaphysics and the ontology of self and the universe. Carroll’s book, Dark Matter, will be available for purchase.
