To Kill a Mockingbird Auditions

When: Mon., Oct. 19, 3:30-6 p.m. and Tue., Oct. 20, 3:30-6 p.m. 2015

SCOUT – 8 years old, Caucasian, a tomboy, inquisitive, independent, sees the world differently from adults JEM – 12 years old, Caucasian, Scout’s older brother and carries himself that way, wise and articulate DILL – 10 years old, Caucasian, their friend visiting for the summer, small but brave. Ages of auditionees may vary from characters’ ages. Young actors must prepare Audition Scenes for the audition. Scenes may be memorized but not required. A slight Southern accent (Alabama) may be used. Please prepare all the scenes for the role to be auditioned – example, Scout would prepare “Scout and Jem 1,” “Scout 2” and “Scout 3.”
