The energetic crew behind the OFC Creations and RAPA collaboration will launch "I Love You Because" this weekend at the Kodak Center Executive Theatre. The show, which is loosely based on Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice," is the story of high-strung greeting card writer Austin Bennett who falls for whimsical photographer Marcy Fitzwilliams. With the support of their friends and family, the couple learns how to love someone because they aren't perfect — not in spite of the fact that they aren't perfect.
"I Love You Because" plays at Friday, February 12, through Sunday, February 14, and again Friday, February 19, and Saturday, February 20. 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on February 14. Kodak Center for Performing Arts, 200 West Ridge Road. Tickets start at $22. 254-0073; kodakcenter.org.
