The RIT Goudy Award for Typography honors Claire Van Vliet

Claire Van Vliet is the founder and proprietor of the Janus Press. Her talk, "Janus Press: A Survey 1955-" will be an overview, choosing six books from each of its six decades. She is the recipient of a MacArthur Foundation Prize Fellowship, and honorary Doctorates of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and San Diego State University. Her work has been exhibited widely around the world. Refreshments to follow. Book giveaways to the first 50 attendees.
