John Odenbach built a huge indoor shipyard in an apple orchard during World War II. The plant was only in business for five years but it employed thousands of people. Odenbach's patented way of bending steel and rivetless hulls revolutionized the shipbuilding industry. Photographs in the presentation are from the Odenbach family and have not been seen before. Presenter Marie Poinan is a member of the Greece Historical Society where she prepares exhibits, programs, and literature.
