The Little Theatre will kick off a new “Mondo Mondays” film series, showcasing strange, awful, and rarely-screened flicks, with a viewing of “The Room,” on Monday, November 3.
Though "The Room" has been called “the worst movie of all time,” it nevertheless has a massive cult following, because there's a certain guilty-pleasure, wince-y charm in bad art.
Each of the $5 screenings will take place on select Mondays at 10 p.m. Following films include “Showgirls” on November 24, “Black Christmas” on December 1, “Silent Night, Deadly Night” (in 35mm film) on December 22, and “New Year’s Evil” on December 29. For more information, visit thelittle.org.
