The City Seen: November 14

Notes from the weekend

Last Saturday, I visited the Seneca Park Zoo after dark to see what artwork the animals had created. I am not sure if cute encompasses all the right emotions, but there were certainly more "awws" then I could count.

Some of the work was directly created by the animals, like Lilac, the African elephant with paintbrush in trunk, where as others were created with the animals, such as Chester and Asha whose paws were dipped in paint before they simply walked across the canvas.

Even though the animals were inside for the night, visitors got a glimpse of the animal's essence and personality by way of their prints, textures, swipes, and colors.
