Winter concert featuring “mid-century modern” repertoire, including two favorites from the wind quintet canon, as well as a feature for new members: Kathryn Scarbrough, flute, and Andrew Brown, clarinet.

All of the pieces on the program were composed between the 1920s and the 1950s, but each demonstrates a different relationship with the themes and concerns of Modernism.
