The program features guest performances by pianists Chiao-Wen Cheng and Jon Gonder. The concert explores various subsets of the quintet, with Marion Bauer’s “Duo for Oboe and Clarinet”, Madeleine Dring’s “Trio for Flute, Oboe, and Piano”, and Aaron Copland’s “Duo for Flute and Piano”, which features new flute instructor Emlyn Johnson. “To the Dark Wood”, a quintet by George Rochberg, rounds out the afternoon.
