"John Gasangwa survived the horrors of starvation and war in part because he made a promise: If he finished his education, he'd serve his people," says Lifetree Café representative Craig Cable. "That promise gave John purpose. A reason to live. We'll hear his story and then see what we can learn about hope and purpose."
