The centerpiece of the evening’s program will be Stephen Shewan’s setting of the Magnificat. In Shewan’s setting of the Magnificat, which is usually part of evening services, he calls for a chorus, soloists, a musical ensemble – provided by the Gibbs Street Brass at this concert – and an organ, which will be played by Dr. Natalie Sarrazin, the coordinator of music studies in the Department of Theatre and Music Studies.
