“Shi-bori“ is a term from the Japanese culture to describe a way of dyeing fabric by “resist." You'll learn to stitch, pole-bind and clamp in the first 30 minutes, with 90 minutes to produce two finished pieces with instruction for care. Please note: Each participant will have a choice of dying one cotton tote or one cotton napkin plus an additional small item you're welcome to bring that is 100% cotton or linen (pillowcase, t-shirt, scarf, table runner, etc.). Students are advised to wear old clothing.
