An outdoor workshop in the parking lot at Rochester Brainery centered around two parts: the hand-dyeing techniques of Shibori and dyeing with Indigo in its natural state. During the first part of this workshop, each participant will receive a yard of fabric to customize a desired repeating pattern. After a short break for PB&J sandwiches with chips, the second part will focus on indoxyl converting to Indigo with our pieces oxidizing greens and blues from sunshine and fresh air.
