A Cold Case File: Paleoclimatology, will describe the use of glacial ice cores to expand our knowledge of past climate records. To understanding modern climate trends we must rely on a solid understanding of how the Earth’s climate has behaved through history. Speaker, Dr. Laura Pence, Professor at the University of Hartford, specializes in environmental chemistry. Meeting starts with cash bar, followed by dinner and a short summary of our organization and concluding with lecture.
