When: Sat., Feb. 8, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. 2014
Rochester Pass It On is a group created with the hope of keeping usable items out of the landfills and into the hands of local people who can use them. With over 5000 members it has quickly become the easiest way to keep reusable items out of the landfill. At this event, "shoppers" may browse items and "shop" for free, as well as donating items to others. The event will be running in conjunction with Greenovation’s “Sustainable Saturday” environmental fair, held on the second Saturday of every month and featuring local nonprofits and artists. Rochester Greenovation will be collecting free items beginning Saturday, February 1st. They ask that donated items be in good condition, and medications and broken items will not be accepted.
