Instead of marking the trail with flags or marshals, participants will be given maps of the park with checkpoints noted. They choose how to reach each of these locations after the mass start. Both 4km and 8km courses will be available. Appropriate for trail running, walking, or off-trail movement within your capabilities. Long sleeves and nylon pants can provide protection if you plan to leave the trail. A compass would be helpful, and the club has some to loan if needed.
