Lecture by Daniel D. Cody. In 1914 the world was thrown into the Great War - World War I. Although the United States did not officially enter the war until three years later, Mr. Cody will discuss how Rochester participated in the war economy and prepared for the country’s eventual entry into the war well before 1917 when the country officially acted to become involved.
