Presentation and Discussion on Environmental Health

Dr. Dana Dolinoy will give a short presentation titled, “A Tale of Two Mice or Why DNA Is Not (Necessarily) Your Destiny.” She will discuss her research on nutrition and environmental chemicals and how many common compounds, such as bisphenol A (BPA), may affect human bodies by altering normal gene activity. Dr. Dolinoy is the John G. Searle Assistant Professor of Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health (UMSPH), and heads the university’s Environmental Epigenetics and Nutrition Laborator
