Prayer vs. Politics: Attaining a Place of Individual Action

When: Sat., Sept. 3, 7-9 p.m. 2016

Politics are getting weird, to say the least. Most everyone agrees that things aren’t going great. But what do we do about it? How do we participate and move things forward? This is a panel discussion that includes Iman Abid, Interim Director of the Rochester chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union; Larry Knox, Political and Community engagement coordinator for Union 1199 SEIU and former staffer for the Obama for America campaign; Dana Paxson, author and Renaissance man and Jamie Ziegler, former Correspondence Assistant at the Bahá’í World Centre.
