Piping Plovers and Least Terns on the Missouri River

GVAS Board member Karl Reinhold spent his summer assisting with a research project on nesting Piping Plovers and Least Terns on a 15-mile stretch of the Missouri River. He will share his adventures catching, banding and following the babies as they grew. Karl will tell us about the habitat needs of these endangered species and the threats to their existence.
