Phases and Passings, the MFA thesis show of John Barnabas Lake, explores being human through photography, installation, and text. Each piece of art work acts as a meditation, trying to connect to the viewer parallel and paradoxical considerations of life. Worship, dreams, shame, love, memory, and other topics are explored through various materials and photographic processes. Interactivity is encouraged.
