When: Sat., Nov. 23, 12 p.m. 2019

Mount Hope Cemetery is now the “permanent” residence of early boatyard owners, boat builders, basin proprietors, bridge builders, surveyors, tool makers and other people who comprise the Rochester connection to the legendary waterway. Learn how these interesting individuals made possible the cemetery's listing on the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor.

Presenter Nancy Uffindell is a trustee of the Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery where she is liaison to the National Parks Service National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom and the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor.
