Could meetings or training sessions you facilitate be more productive, purposeful, and engaging? By understanding strategies to support adult learners, they can be. Engaging a diverse group of learners, structuring your time and pacing purposefully, and focusing on achieving objectives instead of completing activities can be the difference between a boring, perfunctory meeting or training session and one that is purposeful and productive. In this session, you will experience a model for a collaborative, learner-centered, objective-focused meeting and simultaneously gain strategies often employed by K-12 teachers to replicate such a meeting in your professional life.
