Lecture by Scientist, Educator and Civil Rights Leader Walter Cooper, Ph.D. Additionally, through his advocacy work, he helped create the anti-poverty agencies Action for a Better Community and Urban League of Rochester. His lifelong work on behalf of children’s education is guided by his belief in the power of education to improve the opportunities and circumstances of young people.
