Liberty Screams: Reflections in Poetry and Prose on Mass Incarceration and Parole Reform

When: Sat., Oct. 25, 7-9 p.m. 2014

Poets and Activists will read poetry and reflect on the tragedy of Mass Incarceration, specifically referencing the writing of Jalil Muntaqim (Attica, NY). The event will take the form of a roundtable conversation, with readings of Jalil’s poetry and poetry by other incarcerated poets. Jalil’s parole reform proposal will also be presented.
