Lecture by Ecologist, Cancer Survivor, and Author, Dr. Sandra Steingraber

Steingraber has been hailed as “a poet with a knife” and proclaimed by the Sierra Club to be “the new Rachel Carson.” She is one of the Seneca 12 who engaged in acts of civil disobedience to educate the public about the hazards of compressed gas storage in the Finger Lakes region. Her book, Living Downstream, has received much acclaim and was adapted as a documentary film of the same name.
