When: Mon., June 30, 6:30-9:30 p.m. 2014
Pickleball is considered America's fastest growing participation sport, and the Rochester area is a pickleball "hotbed" with more players and places to play than anywhere else in NY State. It provides a great way to socialize while reaping the many benefits of exercise. The smaller court and slower moving ball make it less strenuous and easier to play than tennis. This class will cover rules, scoring, positioning and effective playing strategies. Participants will practice what they are learning and will have a chance at the end of the class to play a pickleball game.
