Latina Equal Pay Day

When: Thu., Oct. 21, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. 2021

Participants are urged to wear red; compared to men's earnings, women's pay is in the red. October 21 represents how much longer into this year that Latinas on average must work to earn what white non-Hispanic men earned in the previous year. On average, Latinas, Native Women, and Black Women working full time in NYS are paid between 55 to 65 percent of what white non-Hispanic men are paid.
