Last Friday Heritage Jazz Series: Community Dialogue

Hosted by Dr. Carl Atkins, Professor of Music at RIT, the Last Friday Jazz Heritage Series takes place each month at the Baobab Cultural Center. The series provides an opportunity to engage in a dialogue on the history, sociology and psychology of Jazz, in the United States and throughout the world. This month, audience members will be invited to ask questions and take part in a conversation following a brief discussion or film presentation. The series runs through June, 2013, and each program in the series will include either musical performance or film and lecture/discussion about some aspect of Jazz.
