Marty the zebra is pretty bored with his life in New York's Central Park Zoo. While he and his friends — Alex the lion (King of the Urban Jungle), Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo — have it pretty easy with an admiring public and caretakers, they're curious about the outside world. Led by a trio of witty penguins, the group escapes the zoo, and find their way half the world away and a hemisphere south in Madagascar. This musical comedy for little ones is an adaptation of DreamWorks' 2005 animated movie, so chances are your kids already know all the words to sing along when the characters come to life on stage.
