This week Rochester Museum and Science Center will host the last of this year's Almost Overnight series, in which kids get to enjoy programming late into the evening. This winter-themed, STEM-focused event features three hands-on workshops that will have them using science to create sweet treats, make an indoor snowstorm, and craft a snow globe to take home. There will also be a hot cocoa bar, caroling with the Tesla Coils, and a meet-and-greet with Eddie the Elk.
Almost Overnight: Snowed In! takes place Friday, December 28, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., at RMSC, 657 East Avenue. Presale tickets are $15 per child, $5 for adults (adult museum members free) and tickets at the door are an additional $5 per child. Members get in early at 5:30 p.m. Get a dollar off your ticket by donating a clean one-gallon milk/water/juice jug for an activity. 697-1945; rmsc.org.
