Intro to Yoga: Tune-Up for Neck & Back

When: Wed., May 18, 7:45-8:45 p.m. 2016

This is the perfect class for a mid-week body-tune-up! The goal is to provide the most well-rounded, informational, and relaxing yoga experience to help participants understand how yoga postures and proper alignment can improve overall health. A slow and mindful pace with a more "therapeutic" feel to yoga poses, along with a centering meditation to help release overall stress and prepare the body for gentle stretching. Using specific yoga poses that help strengthen, stabilize and release tension in the areas of concern including ball work for self-massage and decompress. Class ends in a restful guided relaxation. All -levels.
