You will learn the basics of traditional had craft techniques for making your own “self-bow.” It requires a great deal of time, attention, patience and care. You will spend time with other kindred crafters, using tools and materials provided to carefully carve a seasoned sapling and apply fine tillering techniques to create your very own bow. Expect to use a bit of good old elbow grease for this activity and make sure to bring water and a lunch.
