July 4th Tent Party & BBQ Battle Garden Reception. At 5pm, guests are encouraged to watch competing teams prepare their BBQ ribs within our Hands-On-Kitchen, or venture out to the Garden Tent to enjoy music, light foods, ice cream sundae bar, cash bar, and free Genesee and Genny Light until the kegs run out. At 7pm teams will finish their creations, and the tasting and judging begins. Meanwhile, the NYWCC Chef’s will offer additional BBQ dishes for guests to enjoy. Around 7:45pm the winners of the BBQ Battle Competition will be announced. Guests are encouraged to stay, relax, and enjoy the remainder of the evening under the Garden Tent and in the NYWCC Gardens for the Fourth of July fireworks over Canandaigua Lake.
