IceCube: A Neutrino Window on the Universe

RIT/UR astrophysics community invites Rochester local space enthusiasts to join the University of Rochester campus for an evening talk discussing the most recent advances in astronomy research. Dr. Francis Halzen (University of Wisconsin-Madison) will present how scientists probe some of the most powerful events in the Universe using neutrino particles. We welcome audiences of all levels — no advanced knowledge of astrophysics is required! See Facebook event link for talk synopsis. Location: Room 1400, Wegmans Hall. Door opens at 7:00pm, talk starts at 7:30pm. Seating first come first served. Parking on campus.
