Visitors are invited to join in the harvest and celebration, as well as see how the hops contributed to the beer-making process at the nation’s only operational 19-century brewery. There will be samples of beer bread in the village kitchens and craft beer tasting. A beer-centric menu that includes sausages in ale sauce will be available at the museum’s historic Hosmer’s Inn. Other hops-based activities will occur throughout the historic village.
