This weekend is the last opportunity to catch a show and sale of work by the Rochester Folk Art Guild in the city. The Middlesex-based craft guild has held major exhibits in Rochester for the past 57 years, but going forward plans to hosting events at its East Hill Farm center. This year's Holiday Festival of Crafts will mark the guild's final comprehensive event in Rochester, featuring works of pottery, wood, weaving, clothing design, art glass jewelry, graphic arts, and more by skilled regional artisans. If you miss this event, check the guild's site for information on its December holiday studio events.
Rochester Folk Art Guild's Holiday Festival of Crafts takes place Friday, November 23, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, November 24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, November 25, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Harley School, 1984 Clover Street. Admission is $2. 544-3539; folkartguild.org.
