Located in the Bronx, this park lasted only four years before declaring bankruptcy and closing its gates in 1964. We’ll explore creator C. V. Wood’s vision of merging amusement with education (as well as his obsession with UFOs), take a ride through the park where visitors were invited to become actors in key moments of American history, and explore the reasons behind its rapid downfall. Drinks and mingling are followed by an hour-long class and discussion.
