When: Jan. 7-28 2023
The Coral Reef is composed of eight 3-D separate units covered with colorful hand-crocheted corals and sea life such as Clown fish, seahorses, and sea stars. The Coral Reef project began as a sculpture but soon gained global meaning as the plight of the corals and sea life gained international attention. At present, coral reefs are facing multiple stressors such as plastic pollution, commercial overfishing, and ongoing climate change. Opening: Saturday, January 7, 4–6 pm. Music for the opening by Smooth Groovy.
