The SUNY Geneseo String Band, directed by Department of Music Lecturer Jim Kimball, will be playing its one and only square dance of the spring semester Feb. 2 from 8 to 11 p.m. in the MacVittie Union Ballroom. The band, composed primarily of Geneseo students, will be playing music for old-time Eastern style dancing and basic instruction will be available from Kimball and guest callers. No experience necessary. The event is sponsored by SUNY Geneseo’s Department of Music
