A biennial classical music celebration that features musicians of African descent from throughout the United States. One hundred musicians are expected to participate. Special guests will be Anthony McGill, who was appointed principal clarinetist with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra last September and the Harlem Quartet, a New York City-based string ensemble.
