When: May 9-11 2014

Rochester will welcome more than 70 game and puzzle collectors, historians, and industry leaders from across the country from May 9 to 11 as part of the Association of Game and Puzzle Collectors (AGPC) 30th Annual Convention. The three-day conference will be split between the DoubleTree Inn in Henrietta and The Strong—where attendees will receive behind-the-scenes tours of the museum’s world-renowned collections of toys, games, dolls, video games, and other artifacts of play. The conference will also include an awards presentation at The Strong on Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. honoring Phillip Orbanes, toy industry executive and preeminent Monopoly scholar, and Randolph (Ranny) Parker Barton, former president of Parker Brothers and grandson of company founder George Parker. Conference only open to AGPC members.
