Free at Last: The Legacy of Frederick Douglass

Verdis Robinson, former MCC history professor, will lead a tour introducing several African Americans interred in Mt. Hope whose stories have not been told before. Frederick Douglass is included in the tour as well as other African Americans who lived in Rochester from the 19th century up to the 21st. Verdis Robinson is one of the authors of the forthcoming book titled "Beyond These Gates - Mountains of Hope in Rochester's African-American History.”

Price: $10 / Free admission to Friends of Mount Hope members.
