For Those Who Lie in Yonder Hallowed Ground

When: Sat., June 8 2019

Each year Dr. David Anderson reminds us to commemorate those black soldiers who fought in the Civil war and gave their lives for the freedom of our enslaved people. The program begins with the posting of colors, pouring of libation and the reading of the biographies of our US colored troops in Mt Hope Cemetery. Youth will plant flags at the soldier grave.
