With more than 30 food and drink vendors, the third annual Savor Rochester festival is sure to draw crowds from all over the area. The event will feature locally made beer, wine, and food samples — vendors include Southern Tier Distilling Company, Black Button Distilling, and Brewery Ommegang, just to name a few — and the evening session will include live jazz music. Savor Rochester will also hold blind taste tests and will highlight Chef Daryl Cronk's tasting menu. The evening session will include a wine, beer, and spirit competition judged by chef and television personality Danny Boome alongside Lauren Kowalski, President of the US Bartenders' Guild Buffalo.
Savor Rochester will take place on Saturday, June 17, at Village Gate, 274 North Goodman Street, with an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and an evening session from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. General tickets are $20.95 for the afternoon session and $27.95 for the evening session. VIP tickets are $27.95 for the afternoon session and $34.95 for the evening session. Door tickets will cost an additional $5. All ticket holders must be 21 and over. savorroc.com.
