Linwood Gardens is a historic garden sanctuary that features collections of tree peonies dating to the 1940's. Home to peony collections like Eve of Radiance, Hana Kisoi, Ezra Pound, Chinese Dragon, Argonaut, and Black Pirate, when the tree peonies first bloom, Linwood celebrates with the Tree Peony Festival of Flowers. The festival takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from May 17 through June 1. Refreshments will be provided throughout the festival by Sweet Arts Bakery in Avon.
