The presentation will provide a strengths-based approach to dealing with conflicts. It builds upon the work of “Safe Haven Marriage” by Sharon Hart Morris and Archibald Hart. Dr.Skiff will explore the radiance of relationship, trust, emotional availability and responsiveness. Relationships tend to go a lot smoother when we learn to choose responses that promote intimacy and love as opposed to distance and anger. Its content and message comes from a desire to share the findings from his dissertation entitled “Measuring partner violence in the religious community: Contextualizing Marital Submission”.
